The BOTB Winner Will Play At Rock N Resort 2009
Would your band like to be featured at Rock N Resort 2009 and share billing with national recording artists?
Clay's Park Resort and Clay's Park Teen Club are proud to announce The 3rd Annual Battle of the Bands Competition. We will host one band each week leading up to Rock N Resort and the Clay's Park Teen Club members will vote for a winner on their official score card. Votes are tallied and the winner will bw selected to perform a feature set at Rock N Resort 2009.
If your band is interested and agree to the terms listed below, please feel free to sign up for a spot in this year's battle.
Terms and Conditions
1) Your band must be able to perform at least 45 minutes worth of material.
2) No obscene or offensive lyrics or acts on stage will be permitted.
3) You must be able to supply your own sound / light system for the battle (Sound / Lights will only be supplied for the winner's feature set.
4) Your band must be able to perform a 45 minute set on Thursday, July 16, 2009 if you are selected as the winning band (Start at approx. 7:00 PM).
5) All Band Submissions will be reviewed by Clay's Park's entertainment committee, though only those bands selected for the battle will be contacted.
6) Bands to perform in the battle will be selected by Clay's Park's entertainment committee. Specific Battle dates (Fridays or Saturdays) will be determined if you are contacted.
7) Bands selected for the battle will perform 45 to 90 minutes at Clay's Park Resort on their performance date (performance date will be determined when contacted).
Grand Prize - Featured Performance at Rock N Resort 2009
The band with the most votes from our teen club members will perform a 45 minute feature set at The 6th Annual Rock N Resort Music Festival on July 16, 2009 and also receive:
- Two (2) 3-Day Passes to Rock N Resort 2009 for you and a guest.
- One (1) Performer Stage Pass per band member for the date of your performance.
- Two (2) Crew Stage Passes for your crew for the date of your performance.
- A featured performer web page on www.ClaysParkRocks.com
Sound / Lights / Soundman will be supplied for your feature set.
Receive
All bands selected for the battle will receive:
- Two (2) 1-Day Tickets per band member to Rock N Resort 2009 (good for any one day of the festival).
- Two (2) 1-Day General Admission Passes to Clay's Park Resort for the day of your Battle Performance.
