Clay's Park Resort is proud to announce Clay’s Bark in the Park Festival featuring the high flying action of DockDogs®, the independent governing and sanctioning body for dock jumping and dock diving canine performance sports. Additionally, this will be a Sportsmen's National Series Event for DockDogs.
Stark County Humane Society will be on hand for pet adoptions and Time Warner Cable will air the event. Join us for three days of contests, camping, food and family fun...dogs are welcome, too!!!

Throughout the weekend DockDogs® will present the Big Air® Wave competition accompanied by an Extreme Vertical® and Speed Retrieve® competition for both competitors and spectators to enjoy.
The competitions are open to any and everyone. Teams are made up of one dog and one handler. Your canine must be 6 months or older to be eligible. Canines of any breed, size or shape are welcomed.

The Big Air® competition features dogs running down a 40’ dock and diving into a pool of water after an object where they are electronically judged for the length of their jump.
The Extreme Vertical® competition is a “High Jump” for the dogs as they each lunge to snag a “bumper” suspended in the air. With each grab, the height increases in 2-inch increments until only one dog is crowned king.

Rounding out the action is the newest form of competition known as Speed Retrieve® – where the dogs are put on the clock to see how fast they can run down the dock, jump into the water, swim to the end of the pool and retrieve an object which is held by a modified extender arm.
Pre-registration is available by logging onto www.dockdogs.com, or you can register on-site at the beginning of each day. The website will also provide an up-to-date schedule and general information on all DockDogs® affiliated events.
Additionally, Fox 8's Dick Goddard will be on hand Saturday, May 29 next to the Humane Society's booth in the main tent and Time Warner Cable will be filming all weekend to broadcast the event.

Bark In The Park Camping Rates*:
Primitive $34.95
Water/Electric $40.95
Full Hook-up $45.95
Full Hook-up Pull Thru $47.95
Camping includes unlimited access to Water Park and Campground Amenities including: heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
• Requires a three-night minimum stay.
• Prices include the first two people on the site; each additional person is $12.95. Children ages 2 and under are free.
• Reservations are required in advance and secured with deposit of 25% & $5.00 per site non-refundable reservation fee.
• Minimum of five (5) days before scheduled check-in day any monies paid will be refunded less the $15.00 reservation fee. If camper cancels less than five (5) days before check-in, no refunds will be issued.
• Camping rates do not include admission to Bark in the Park. Event tickets may be purchased by overnight campers for $3 at any Melody Barn Gate, Corporate Office, Water Park Welcome Center or Campground Gate.
Water Park Super Ticket Admission Rate will be $12 per person/Friday (May 28) and $15 per person/Saturday & Sunday (May 29 & 30) and will include admission to Bark in the Park Festival.
One-day ticket to EVENT ONLY is $6 per person. *
Three-day ticket to EVENT ONLY is $16 per person. *
* $1 off admission with donation of dog/cat food or kitty litter to be donated to Stark County Humane Society.
Event ticket holders may upgrade to Water Park Super Ticket each day with a $3 discount with proof of BITP admission, i.e. wristband or ticket stub.
