Overnight Camping Rules and Regulations

Thank you for choosing Clay’s Park Resort.  Please review our rules and policies…

  • Help keep our park clean!  Please place all bagged trash in the dumpster.  Do NOT leave bagged trash on your campsite.
  • You must have someone on site 21 years or older in order to camp at Clay's Park Resort.
  • Fire rings and Picnic Tables are ONLY available for sites with hook ups.  No fire rings or picnic tables are provided for primitive camping.  Please be sure to keep all campfires enclosed.
  • Four Wheelers and other ATVs are not permitted at Clay's Park Resort.
  • Grass is always greener at Clay’s Park; please help us keep it that way. Large area rugs are not permitted on grass, only small rugs will be permitted.
  • Pets are welcome; they must be kept on a leash at all times and never left unattended. No more than 2 pets per site.   Pets are not permitted in the Picnic Areas, Cabins, Pavilions or Beach Area.  Shot records must be provided at the time of check-in. Always pick up after your pets.
  • Our trees make our campground beautiful!  There is absolutely no cutting or nailing our trees.  No firewood is permitted to be brought into the Park.  You may purchase firewood at the Welcome Centers or Campground Country Store.
  • We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items, wind or rain damage.  There will be no refunds or rain checks given.
  • There is a limit of two vehicles per campsite.  Additional parking is available.
  • Clay’s Park is a family-oriented park.  We love for everyone to enjoy their stay, but excessive consumption of alcohol or any disruptive behavior will result in removal from the resort.  Glass bottles are not permitted.
  • Chinese lanterns are not permitted at our park.
  • 11 pm –8 am is our quiet time.  Please keep conversation and music at a level that will not disturb others. Campers will receive one warning in relation to noise/conduct complaints.  On the second call, campfires will be extinguished, and you may be asked to leave the park.  Children 17 and under are to be back at their campsite by 11 pm.  Parents, please know where your children are at all times.
  • Our Welcome Center located by the Water Park (off Patterson Rd.) is open 24 Hours.  In the event of an emergency or security issue, please contact the  Welcome Center via telephone at 330-408-7888 or 330-854-6691.
  • Check out time is at 11 am, but after checking out from your site you are welcome to stay and take advantage of park amenities until close that day.
  • Licensed vehicles and golf carts are allowed on our roads. All drivers must have a valid drivers license.  In order to operate a golf cart after dark, it must have working headlights and taillights. SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH.
  • For safety reasons, bicycles are not permitted for use after dark.
  • When you check in you will receive a wristband for each person and vehicle pass.  The wristbands are to be worn at all times.
  • On the back of your vehicle car pass is a customer survey.  We want to know how your stay went!  If you notice an outstanding staff member while you are here, we want to know who made a positive contribution to your stay!
  • Firearms, including (but not limited to) pellet guns, BB guns, air guns, a bow and arrow, or licensed concealed weapons are strictly prohibited on Clay’s Park property.
